On the auspicious First Sermon of the Lord Buddha, the Kathok Baylangdra Monastery will consecrate the installation
of the Guru statue in the main Temple ( Guru Lhakhang).
Two years ago, during the auspicious first sermon of Lord Buddha ( Chokhor Duchen) prayer ceremony at Baylangdra, Lama Sangay Rabten, the President of Bodhisattva Foundation pledged to offer the main relics (Guru Statue) for the main Guru Lhakhang of H.H Kathok Situ Rinpoche.
As intended, the preparation for the installation is at the completion stage, and on 27th July 2017, the main consecration ceremony will take place at Baylangdra.
The Guru Statue is being bought from Nepal ( the Land of Buddha Shakyamuni) and the primary sponsors are Madam Lynda Isenberg and Mrs.Penzom Lama, patron of the Bodhisattva Foundation.

This project of installing the statue is dedicated to the Long Life of H.H Kathok Situ Rinpoche, to the lineage holders of the Buddha’s teachings and for the benefits of all sentient beings.
